Iran FM meets heads of int’l humanitarian organizations in Geneva

Geneva, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian met with the heads of Geneva-based international organizations on Tuesday.

The meeting was held as Amirabdollahian is on a visit to the Swiss city where he attended the 52nd regular session of the Human Rights Council and the high-level segment of the Conference on Disarmament.

UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi, Director General of the International Organization of Migration (IOM) António Vitorino, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) President Mirjana Spoljaric, and Director of Coordination of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Ramesh Rajasingham were the heads of the international humanitarian organizations present in the meeting with the Iranian foreign minister in Geneva.
