Iran’s top general to visit Moscow

Reza Khosravi Moqaddam, the military attaché of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation made the announcement on Friday, saying that Major General Baqeri will travel to Moscow at the official invitation of the Russian Defense Minister General Sergei Shoigu next week, Mehr News Agency reported.

According to Khosravi Moqaddam, Baqeri is scheduled to exchange views with Russian officials on the development of cooperation and joint defense and military relations, the fight against terrorism and regional and international changes.

His upcoming visit to Moscow will come after a visit to Pakistan for talks on various issues, including military cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
