Iran, India discuss bilateral ties
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Araqchi and visiting Director-General of the Middle East at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs J.P. Singh discussed major regional and international developments including Iran’s nuclear deal officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
During the meeting which was held in Tehran on Saturday, the Indian diplomat also invited Araqchi to pay a visit to New Delhi to hold the second round of political dialogue, IRNA reported.
Singh also briefed Araqchi on Tehran-New Delhi political dialogue process.
The two diplomats also attended the Joint Economic Commission of Iran and India.
