Iran's senior security official warns against US’ increased mobility in region

"The US Military's increased mobility in the region is a sign of defiance and fear because of past mischiefs. Such actions would increase the entropy of insecurity and lead to harmful misunderstandings," Secretary of SNSC Ali Shamkhani tweeted on Monday.

"Security in the region can only be achieved through the exit of foreign anti-stability forces," Shamkhani added.

Iran’s foreign minister on Thursday warned US President Donald Trump against any possible adventurism against Iran during his last days in office, saying that he would be responsible for the consequences of any such move, iranpress.com reported.

Mohammad Javad Zarif’s statement came after Trump warned Tehran in a Twitter post that he would hold “Iran responsible” in the event of a fatal attack on Americans in Iraq.
