Iran exports caviar to US for the first time
The CEO of Iranian Agricultural Services Holding announced that Iran exported caviar to the United State for the first time.
The CEO of Iranian Agricultural Services Holding, Abbas Rjaie also said, “Iran is also developing caviar farming and producing caviar reaches to nearly three tones during the fiscal year (started March 21, 2017).
He added, “With receiving certifications from US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2016 and 2017, we exported 10 kilograms caviar to US last year worth 600 million Iranian rials and given the efforts to get these certifications, we intent to develop the exportation of this fishery product”.
