Review of PMs’ Measures in Nuclear Dossier

-The Parliament should, for even once, support the government’s nuclear policies and the Supreme Leader’s red lines instead of taking retaliatory measures against the US.

-Unfortunately, some members of the Parliament use the nuclear issue to exert pressure on their rival party.

-It seems that the Islamic Consultative Assembly, contrary to what is expected of it in the power structure of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is involved in the political factions. This has led the nuclear issue to be sometimes used for partisan political interests.

-Instead of considering the nuclear issue as a national issue for the Islamic Republic of Iran, some members of the Parliament use it to confront their rival party.

-The resolution of the nuclear issue will impact the future parliamentary elections. The signing of the comprehensive agreement or otherwise will affect the weight of different political parties in the upcoming elections.

-There is no doubt that it is necessary for the parliament members to create a proper atmosphere at the international level to increase national power for the diplomats and have positive effects on their activities. But unfortunately, members of the Parliament are behind their rivals – members of the P5+1 and particularly the US – and have taken retaliatory measures and created a confrontational atmosphere.

-Now that the US Senate attempts to have a say in the policies of the White House and show its effects on the trend of the nuclear deal to the benefit of the Republicans and the Zionist lobby, the parliamentarians of Iran have proposed a bill in this regard.

-Such a measure is an active reaction but they should consider its effects on the nuclear negotiations now that it has reached the final station which is the drafting of the text of the agreement.

-It is necessary for the Parliament to have a positive approach instead of a negative one and show their positive approach towards the government based on the guidelines of the Supreme Leader.
