Success of IAEA Talks Depends on Tranquil Atmosphere of Cooperation

- The main message of the February 2013 IAEA report on Iran, after more than 10 years of inspections of nuclear installations, materials, and activities, is the non-diversion of nuclear activities and installations towards military purposes. This report also emphasizes that the enrichment in Iran continues under full IAEA supervision and without any problem.

- Based on the IAEA report, the 20 percent enrichment of uranium to produce fuel for Tehran's reactor continues with success, showing the peaceful use of enrichment including for producing the fuel of Tehran’s research reactor and radio isotopes needed for hospitals.

- In his report, the IAEA Director General emphasizes the agency's commitment to continue dialogue with Iran and states that he will continue talks without any hesitation.

- We emphasize the continuation of talks with the IAEA with the aim of removing ambiguities and proving the baselessness of claims. The success of talks with the Agency depends on the preventing the distortion of the tranquil atmosphere of cooperation with the IAEA. In order to have a successful process of talks between Iran and the Agency, I recommend preventing any political and propaganda-based commotion.
