-Bashar Assad: The biggest lesson I learned from Syrian war is that the West cannot be trusted

Bashar Assad said in an interview that the most important lesson that he has learned from the crisis in his country is that the West cannot be trusted and that no issue can be resolved by relying on the West. He then went on to say, “We must choose those countries as our friends that stand by us during the time of crisis.”

 

-Hadi al-Ameri: We will cleanse Iraq of ISIS in 2016

The President of Iraq’s Badr Organization stated that if the operational conditions for Iraq’s armed forces are provided, the entire country will be cleansed of ISIS forces this year.

-Syria and Nagorno-Karabakh crises on negotiating table in Ramsar

The foreign ministers of Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan will hold a trilateral meeting in Ramsar today to discuss the crises in Syria and Nagorno-Karabakh. They will also discuss the issue of terrorism in the region.

 

-Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani: I believe that missile power is necessary and I have helped strengthen it

In his meeting with the staff of the Expediency Council, Ayatollah Hashemi reiterated that Iran’s army officials know well that the missile program started when he was the commander of the war and he deems the strengthening of the missile program necessary.
