Tehran’s Daily Newspaper Review
Tehran’s newspapers might have had difficulty choosing their top headline today: The Ministry of Intelligence announcing that it has arrested a spy network involved in last year’s assassination of nuclear scientist Masoud Ali-Mohammadi, the Tehran-Urmia plane crash and its bitter headlines and Ahmadinejad’s protest of the Expediency Council’s interventist ratification of controversial bills and his support of his vice president, Mohammad-Reza Rahimi, who is accused of financial corruption by some hardcore Principlists in Majles such as Elias Naderan; all made the headlines.
