Ahmadinejad’s diplomatic team came up with another unique diplomatic initiative by inviting IAEA members to visit the nuclear facilities of Natanz and Arak. In Semnan Province, his hometown, Ahmadinejad promised the nation that unemployment will be eradicated by the end of his presidency. The legal battle continues between the Hashemi Rafsanjani family and pro-Ahmadinejad media, and reactions to Mohammad Khatami’s (draconian) preconditions for Reformists’ participation in future elections continue.
