Ayatollah Khamenei’s visit to Qom, scheduled to take place tomorrow, and Ahmadinejad’s announcement that the first ration of liquid subsidies will be credited on Tuesday, were the top headlines of Tehran’s newspapers today. Principlist newspapers continue their ecstatic reporting of the mass demonstrations in France, publishing pictures of the protests that, ironically, strongly resemble the post-election protests of Iranians in 2009.
