Supreme Leader Reiterates Importance of Palestine for Muslims
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei underlined the importance of the Palestinian issue for the world Muslims.

"Palestine is the number one issue of the Islamic World. The so-called peace conference aims to cover up Zionist regime’s crimes," Ayatollah Khamenei said in his first Eid al-Fitr (Fast Breaking Festival) congregational prayers sermon on Tehran University campus.
The Leader described Palestinian nation as "a strong nation" that stands pressures, and added that pressures can not force the resistant nation withdraw.
The Paramount Leader said Palestinian nation has become stronger and more powerful than the past 20 to 30 years.
"Palestinians can cut hands of the aggressor and put an end to the Zionist regime’s presence in the region," Ayatollah Khamenei stated.
Elsewhere in his address, Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to Pakistan flood and called on the world of Islam to pay attention to the ’pressing issue and big calamity’ and rush aid to those hit by the disaster.
Torrential monsoon rains have triggered massive floods that have moved steadily from north to south over the past month, engulfing a fifth of the volatile country and affecting 17 million of Pakistan’s 167 million people.
Southern Sindh is the worst-affected province, with 19 of its 23 districts ravaged as floodwaters have swollen the raging Indus river to 40 times its usual volume.
One million people have been displaced over the past few days alone.
Eight million people have been left dependent on aid for their survival and floods have washed away huge swathes of the rich farmland on which the country’s struggling economy depends.
A UN assessment indicates that the scale of the floods is worse than the 2004 tsunami in Asia and the recent Haiti earthquake.
