Spanish Music Band Performs in Tehran

While the issue of concerts has turned into a grounds for struggle between the government and the judiciary in Iran, resulting in successive cancellation of concerts by the police, a Spanish group found the chance to entertain Iranians on Saturday and Sunday nights this week. The band, vaguely called The Nonet Ensemble of Local Spanish Music by Iranian media, was led by former vocalist of the legendary Gipsy Kings band Paul Reyes. The group held two nights of performance in Vahdat Hall, central Tehran, on August 13^th and 14^th.
