Iran, UAE Discuss Bilateral Ties, Regional Developments

(FNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and Emirati Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Muhammad Gargash in a meeting in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on Wednesday discussed bilateral ties and regional developments.

During the meeting in the Emirati capital today, Amir Abdollahian and Gargash exchanged views on ways to further bolster bilateral ties.

The two sides also discussed regional developments, specially the crises in Syria, Yemen and Iraq.  

Amir Abdollahian and Gargash underlined the need for cooperation among the regional countries in the campaign against terrorism.

Amir Abdollahian arrived in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday to meet senior UAE officials on ties and regional developments.

Iran attaches importance to strengthening ties with the Middle Eastern nations, specially to maintain security in the region.
