Iran set to launch 160 mine, industry projects in Government Week: official
About 160 industrial and mining projects will be inaugurated in Iran during the Government Week (August 23-29), according to Ali Yazdani, an official at the Iranian Industry, Mines and Trade Ministry.
The projects will come on stream at the cost of over 24.158 trillion rials (about $779.29 million) and will create more than 9,700 jobs, the Mehr News Agency quoted Yazdani as saying on Saturday.
The projects consist of 30 plants in food, 28 plants in non-metal ,19 plants in chemical, 18 plants in metal, 16 plants in rubber and plastic, 25 plants in mining industry and 21 plans in the weaving industry.
