Salehi critical of Arab governments for inaction toward Gaza
IRNA – Vice President Ali Akbar Salehi on Saturday criticized the Arab governments for inaction toward the Israeli crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Talking to reporters, he criticized the Arab governments for accusing the Syrian government of corruption and tyranny and in the meantime, keeping silent towards the Israeli crimes against humanity in Gaza.
The Muslim and Arab nations have rendered their support for the oppressed people of Gaza and resistance movement will conquer the occupying regime of Tel Aviv owing to the Godˈs help, Salehi added.
The United Nations Security Council on Friday expressed concern about escalation of violence between Israel and the Hamas government.
The UN said that Israel carried disproportionate air raids on the civilian targets in Gaza and Israel violated international law under the excuse of self-defense.
In a new series of the Israeli air raids over the five days since July 8, at least 122 Palestinians were killed and several hundred civilians were wounded.
The Hamas government is responding to the Israeli air strikes by medium-range missile attacks and said that it has hit Tel Aviv with 500 missiles in return for 1,000 air strikes on Gaza.
Hamas said that it will not stop the missile attacks on Tel Aviv unless the occupying regime ends the air strikes on Gaza.
