Iranian Deputy FM Calls On Egyptian Officials to Help Palestinians
(FNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian called on Egyptian officials to fulfill their duties in defending the oppressed Palestinian people through adopting effective measures.
"Egypt is now standing in a decisive moment and we expect officials of that country to send medicines and foodstuff to Gaza and also admit the injured Palestinians to Egypt's hospitals," Amir Abdollahian said.
The Iranian deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs condemned Israel's atrocities against the Palestinian nation.
Amir Abdollahian is currently on a regional tour of Kuwait, Jordan, and Oman to discuss the latest political developments and situation in Iraq and Palestine.
The death toll of the brutal offensive waged by the Israeli army against Gaza neared 100.
Palestinian health ministry announced that the number of the martyrs since the start of the Israeli attacks against Gazans on Monday reached 98.
The ministry added that the number of the injured passed 700, noting that among the martyrs were 20 children and 20 women.
