Terrorist group ˈDaeshˈ a scheme to escalate racial discrimination, religious rifts
Speaking to IRNA, he said current developments in Iraq have roots in the countryˈs history and social life.
He said that Daesh is the outcome of misunderstanding of Islamic teachings, inadequate management of the Iraqi community and malpractice and interference of certain regional states in Iraq.
The current events in Iraq could not be attributed to a single extremist group but it has roots in many facts, he said.
Sabah Zanganeh said that the terrorist group has nothing to do with Islam as the Islamic teachngs run counters to the concept and ideology of the group.
Hemade clear that the way Islam invites others has its own methodology and good behavior of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in dealing with others is in full contradiction with Daesh.
In a word, Daesh is a plot masterminded by non-believers who tries to escalate racial discrimination and religious divide, he said.
Their brutality has nothing to do with Islam although they try to justify their misdeeds under the guise of Islamic teachings, he said.
The Islamic Republic of Iran fully backs a unified Iraq and the countryˈs territorial integrity; he said adding that disintegration of Iraq will be very harmful to Kurds, the Iraqi people as well as all countries in the region.
Iran should not back any groups in Iraq but should back a unified and consolidated Iraq and invite other countries to do the same, he said.
He said that the Iraqi people should take decision on their fate.
