President Rouhani concludes visit to Turkey
IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani concluded his two-day visit to Turkey on Tuesday and left Ankara for Tehran this afternoon.
Turkish Minister of Development Cevdet Yılmaz and officials from Iranian Embassy in Turkey seen off the Iranian president and his entourage at the airport.
After 18 years, it was the first visit of a Iranian president to Turkey which was of prime importance for Turkish officials as well as the countryˈs media.
Iranian president and his entourage arrived in Turkey on Saturday and conferred with his Turkish counterpart on expansion of mutual relations, trade and economic cooperation.
Representatives of Iran and Turkey signed 10 agreements during the presidentˈs stay to help broaden relations and cooperation in various sectors.
The target of dlrs 30 billion has been set by the two governments for annual trade.
