EU’s Ashton to pay first official visit to Iran in March

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton intends to pay the first official visit to Iran in early MArch, Iranian news agency ISNA reported on Wednesday.

According to the news agency, Ashton will arrive in Tehran following the invitation of the Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif.

Date of the visit has not yet been determined, although it is known that it will take place after the next round of 5+1 negotiations on Iranian nuclear deal scheduled on February 18.
