Senior Russian Security Official Due in Iran Today
(FNA)- Former Russian Foreign Minister and Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Igor Sergeyevich Ivanov is due to arrive in the Iranian capital on Monday.
During his stay in Tehran, Ivanov is slated to confer on regional and international developments and discuss ways to expand the bilateral ties between Tehran and Moscow in all domains with senior Iranian officials, including Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
Iran and Russia have vast cooperation in different fields, especially in political and economic spheres.
The two states also enjoy special positions on the international scene and have long had constant and regular consultations on key regional and global issues.
