Militants Behead 7 Syrian Christians in Reef Homs
(FNA)- Armed rebels committed another heinous crime in Syria by beheading seven Syrian Christians in Reef (countryside of) Homs in the Western parts of the country.
The bodies of the beheaded Christians have been found in the town of Al-Hasn in Homs countryside on Saturday.
The militants had abducted the Christians from Wadi al-Nassara (Valley of Christians) village, also in Homs countryside, a while ago.
The armed rebels had severely tortured the Christians before beheading them, FNA's regional bureau in Syria reported.
Earlier this week, units of the Syrian armed forces regained control over al-Shumariyeh Mountains, Telol al-Hawa and the mountains surrounding Um Sahrij village in al-Mkharam area in the Eastern countryside of Homs.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs against the Syrian militaries and civilians across the country.
Thousands of people have been killed since terrorist and armed groups turned protest rallies into armed clashes.
The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad.
