Iraq interested in fostering trade ties with Iran

IRNA – An Iraqi official here on Saturday voiced Baghdad's willingness to negotiate with Tehran on fostering bilateral trade transactions.


Deputy Head of Iraqi Free Zone Organization Faeq Ibrahim Ismail made the remarks in a meeting of Iran and Iraq free zones.

The two countries underlined the need for inking a cooperation agreement between the two free zones based on mutual interests as soon as possible.

Establishing free trade zones, holding trade training courses and setting up a joint committee for free zones are among the top priorities of the two countries.
