Iranian, Chinese Labor Ministries to Ink Cooperation Agreement

(FNA)- The Iranian and Chinese labor ministries are due to endorse a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on mutual cooperation during an upcoming visit to Tehran by China's Labor Minister Yin Weimin.


"The visit will take two days and the Chinese labor minister will hold meetings with Vice-President for Development of Human Resources and Management, (Lotfollah Forouzandeh) and also Labor, Cooperatives and Social Welfare Minister (Abdolreza Sheikholeslami) today and tomorrow," Deputy Labor Minister Mohammad Taqi Hosseini told FNA on Saturday.

"Improving the bilateral relations and using China's experiences in developing and creating new and small businesses will be the focus of the two sides' negotiations," he added.

"During the two-day visit, the Iranian and Chinese ministers will sign an MoU on mutual cooperation," Hosseini said.

Earlier reports said that Iran and China plan to expand their cooperation in administrative fields, development and management of human resources in particular.

Forouzandeh and Yin Weimin in April discussed common model of management, human resources' function assessment system, training forces in proportion to the labor market and helpful for the country's development, empowerment of human resources and employment.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Yin said Iran and China have similar experience in improvement of human resources and state management.

The minister said China has lodged administrative reforms to bring new government system to serve the nation with stronger motivation and more actively.

He said Iran and China will soon sign an agreement for mutual cooperation in the said sphere.
