Foreign presence in Persian Gulf will bring insecurity: Ahmadinejad

TEHRAN, April 17 (MNA) – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday that the presence of foreign forces in the Persian Gulf will make the region insecure and one again reiterated on Tehran’s position that only regional countries can safeguard the security in the Persian Gulf.

“Security in the Persian Gulf will prevail with the involvement regional countries and the interference of foreigners will bring nothing except insecurity,” Ahmadinejad said in a ceremony marking the Army Day.
