IRI army chief congratulates US exit from Iraq

IRIB - Head of the Joint Chief of Staff of the IRI Armed Forces General Hassan Firouzabadi congratulated his Iraqi counterpart on the exit of American troops from Iraq.

In separate messages to his Iraqi counterpart Babakr Zebari and Defense Ministry Caretaker Sadun al-Dulaymi on Sunday, he expressed happiness over the expulsion of the defeated US military forces and other countries’ troops from Iraq and said the achievement was due to the resistance and will of both the Iraqi nation and government.

He also expressed hope that the US has learned a good lesson from his defeats in Iraq and will not think of attacking and occupying any other countries in the world.
