Protests will lead to collapse of U.S. political system: Basij chief

Mehr News - Basij Commander Mohammad Reza Naqdi has predicted that the protests in the United States will lead to the collapse of the political system in the country.

“The movement of the people of the United States is a far-reaching movement, a tide which would lead to the collapse of the political system of the country,” Naqdi stated in Tehran on Saturday.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that Iran’s other enemies will experience the same fate as the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

Everyone should wait and see the “annihilation” of the United States, the Basij commander added.
