Iran, Benin sign agreements

ISNA-Iran and Benin signed four Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) in a bid to mature mutual cooperation.

The agreements were signed by Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and Benin's Minister of Foreign Affairs Nassirou Bako Arifari in Tehran Saturday night.

The two sides vowed to lift political visa requirements, expand further cooperation between foreign ministries of the two sides and establish joint economic commission.

Nassirou Bako Arifari arrived in Tehran on Saturday and took part in a joint press conference with Salehi.

He called for Iran-Benin cooperation on economy, trade, industry and sanitation, asking Iranian private sector to join mutual trade projects.
