Ayatollah Khamenei appointed new members of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, with Mir-Hossein Musavi predictably removed from the group and Ahmad Jannati becoming an honorary member. The news of a young cleric violently attacked while trying to stop thugs from kidnapping a young girl was widely covered by the conservative papers. Ahmadinejad's remarks in his yesterday press conference were also reflected by Tehran dailies.
