Minister of Intelligence Heydar Moslehi reported the dismantling of a spy network connected to Mossad. Iranian media, meanwhile, also covered the political turmoil in Egypt. (1) Fajr decade is ten days of celebration in commemoration of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, held from 12th of Bahman (February 1st) –when Ayatollah Khomeini returned to Iran after 15 years of exile- to 22nd of Bahman (February 11th), the day when victory of the revolution was officially announced.
(2) Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani’s website has been fairly active, particularly after the ’88 presidential election. Its release of documents on the history of Iran (including Hashemi Rafsanjani’s speeches before and after the Revolution), framed in a way that is reminiscent of the current political circumstances of the country, has raised the anger of pro-Ahmadinejad media.
(3) Zahra Bahrami, Iranian-Dutch citizen who was arrested in the 2009 Ashoura protests of the Green Movement and executed a few days ago on charges of drug trafficking.
