Tehran's Tabi'at Bridge to be lit in red in sympathy with Turkiye, Syria
Tehran, IRNA – The iconic Tabi’at (Nature) Bridge of the capital city of Tehran will be lit in red tonight to show Iranians’ sympathy with Turkish and Syrian quake-hit people.
The Public Relations Department of the Abbasabad cultural and tourism municipal area announced on Thursday that the sympathetic gesture is a sign of expressing intimacy between the Iranian nation with the people of Turkiye and Syria.
Between 80k and 100k people are expected to visit the Tabi’at Bridge tonight simultaneous with the 16th International Exhibition of Tourism and Related Industries that is in progress in Tehran.
The winter family festival is also held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
The Tabi'at Bridge is the largest pedestrian overpass in Tehran. The 270-meter-long bridge connects two public parks, Taleghani Park and Ab-o Atash (Water and Fire) Park.
