Negotiators Observe Supreme Leader’s Red Lines
-Nuclear negotiations are very difficult and complex and the Iranian negotiators have, hitherto, defended Iran’s nuclear rights. All nations know that the Islamic Republic of Iran does not intend to use its nuclear power for military purposes and, during these previous rounds of negotiations, Iran has shown that it is committed to this matter and does not seek to use this energy militarily.
-All activities and measures taken with regard to the nuclear issue in the country are under the complete supervision of the IAEA inspectors and, based on their reports, there have not been any signs of deviation in Iran’s nuclear program.
-Negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 have led to numerous benefits for our country’s foreign policy. Through these negotiations, Iran has shown to the world that it is ready to negotiate and has no demands beyond its legal and international rights. Iran is even prepared to have joint cooperation with different countries in the field of nuclear energy, just as Iran and Russia have cooperated with each other in the construction of the nuclear power plant in Bushehr, which the world is well aware of.
-With regard to cooperation with other countries, China and Russia have presented certain proposals in this regard, and we have cooperated with these two countries in the past as well.
-There are no secrets in our nuclear program. We have fulfilled all our commitments and will not allow the other side to pass the red lines. The idea that Iran must either respond positively to their demands in negotiations or negotiations will end is merely a psychological war started by the western countries.
-The P5+1 countries were interested in continuing these talks more than Iran was because they know that if they seek to reach an understanding with Iran, they must talk and negotiate with us on equal footing.
-Our negotiators have observed all the lines drawn by the Supreme Leader. The 11th administration has concentrated more on the nuclear issue and has made great efforts in this regard and has succeeded in some areas.
-The government has acted very actively in support of the people of Iraq and the oppressed people of Palestine. The President’s position with regard to Gaza and Palestine was very strong and was approved by the Supreme Leader.
-Supporting the legitimate government of Iraq after the destruction caused by the terrorist Daesh group indicates that the government is moving within the framework that the Supreme Leader has drawn.
-Member countries of the P5+1 have differences between each other in the area of foreign policy. A clear example which can be pointed out is the recent differences between Russia and the US over the issue of Ukraine.
-We hope that, with the continuation of the people’s resistance and the negotiators’ observance of the lines drawn by the Supreme Leader, these negotiations will succeed.
