Iranian, Austrian Archeologists to Exchange Experience

(FNA)- Head of Iran's Cultural Heritage Research Center Mohammad Beheshti and Head of the Austrian Academy of Sciences Anton Zeilinger in a meeting in Tehran on Wednesday signed an agreement on archaeological cooperation.

The two sides accorded to exchange experience in preserving and repairing the museums and archeological sites.

They also agreed on exchange of university students as well as research cooperation in this regard.

Following Iran's agreement with the six world powers in Vienna on July 14, Tehran and Vienna have opened a new chapter in expanding their economic and trade relations.

The two countries have signed over a dozen memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in different fields worth tens of millions of dollars.

The Austrian president, Heinz Fischer heading a high-ranking delegation arrived in the Iranian capital on Monday to dicuss expansion of all-out ties.
