(FNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu can no more use his plots to portray Iran as a threat to derail international attention from his regime's crimes following the recent nuclear agreement between Tehran and the six world powers.

Speaking in a meeting with Palestinian groups in Lebanon on Wednesday, Zarif described the nuclear agreement between Tehran and the world powers as a victory for the entire region, and said, "Thanks God and thanks to the Iranian people's resistance and your support, this game failed and the Zionist regime has no alibi to cover up its crimes against the Palestinian and regional people."

He pointed to the Israeli settlers' arson attack on a Palestinian family that claimed the lives of an 18-month-old infant and his parents in the West Bank earlier this month, and said, "There is no excuse to cover up a Palestinian child and his father's burning and martyrdom."

Zarif underscored that today the ugly face of aggression and occupation has been revealed to the world and there will still be more revelations about Zionists' crimes in future.

Iran and the world powers reached a final agreement in Vienna on July 14 to end a 13-year-old nuclear standoff.

A week later, the UNSC unanimously endorsed a draft resolution turning into international law the JCPOA reached between Iran and the 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, Britain and France plus Germany) group of countries over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program.

Now the US Congress and the Iranian parliament have less than 60 days to review the deal to approve or reject its practice.
