Soleimani Stresses Vital Importance of Fighting ISIL

(FNA)- The globally renowned Commander of Iran's IRGC Quds Force, Major General Qassem Soleimani, warned of the threats posed by the terrorists groups, specially the ISIL, to the international peace and security, and stressed that fighting the ISIL is exactly equal to protecting national interests.

General Soleimani stressed that fighting the terrorist groups, including the ISIL, is equal to securing the national interests.

The Iranian commander went on to say that the group, whose terrorists slaughtering people similar to sheep, is a major threat.

On Saturday, Head of Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Council Ali Akbar Velayati reiterated the call for the reinvigoration of international efforts to confront the threats posed by the Takfiri terrorists in the region, and said his country has always been one of the forerunners of the promotion of peace and stability in Asia.

"The presence of Takfiri and terrorist groups in some regional countries, including Iraq, Lebanon and Syria should be dealt with seriously," he further added.
