Peshmerga Denies Recapture of Mosul Dam by ISIL

(FNA)- The Iraqi Kurdistan's Peshmerga Ministry on Tuesday denied media reports that the Mosul dam has been recaptured by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorists.

"Some media channels were trying to spread false rumors that ISIL recaptured the Mosul dam," Spokesman of Peshmerga Ministry Hilkot Hikmat said.

Hilkot asserted that the Peshmerga forces are completely controlling the dam, and the security situation there is stable.
