Afkham rejects US approach towards Iran proposed UN envoy

 IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham termed the US treatment of Iranˈs proposed United Nations envoy Hamid Abutalebi as unacceptable.
She made the remarks in reaction to what the White House spokesperson has said about the Iranian diplomat.

She said Iran has officially announced its views regarding the issue to the US officials.

Afkham referred to Abutalebi as one of Iranˈs highly-skilled diplomats who once obtained US entry visa in 1990s to attend a UN meeting.
