Iranian FM Planning to Visit Russia

(FNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif plans to pay an official visit to Moscow later this month.

Zarif is scheduled to travel to the Russian Capital in less than two weeks to attend the 5 Caspian Sea littoral countries’ foreign ministers meeting which is going to be held on April 21.

The attending members will be discussing regional affairs and relations.

Following the upcoming foreign ministers’ convention, the Caspian Sea littoral countries’ leaders will also meet in September in Astrakhan.

Caspian Sea littoral states consist of Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. They have been debating their share in the Caspian Sea legal regime since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.
