Iran’s President Planning to Visit Oman Next Week

(FNA)- Iran's President Hassan Rouhani plans to pay an official visit to Oman on Wednesday to exchange views with the senior Omani officials on the latest regional and international developments and explore avenues for the further expansion of ties between the two the friendly nations.

President Rouhani will be accompanied by a high-ranking delegation during his two-day trip to the Omani capital.

Iranian officials have repeatedly underlined that they attach great importance to the consolidation of Tehran's relations with the Middle-East countries, specially with the Persian Gulf littoral states, in order to protect and promote peace and security in the region.
