Kerry says he is in Geneva to forge agreement
US Secretary of State John Kerry said that he has travelled to Geneva to forge an agreement between Iran and 5+1 Group.
Talking to reporters upon arrival in the Swiss city of Geneva, he added, “No agreement has yet been reached, but I have come to help conclude an agreement between Iran and 5+1 member states.”
He added that he will have a session with Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif to resolve the remaining issues.
“Of course, our views are distant with those of Iran and we have come to bring them closer to each other,” he said.
Kerry is to meet with European Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton before attending the trilateral meeting with her and Zarif.
