Putin, Merkel to Meet in Hannover

(FNA)- Russian President Vladimir Putin will join German Chancellor Angela Merkel at today's opening of a major industrial exhibition in Hannover at the start of his two-day visit to the Federal Republic.

More than 160 companies will be showcasing their very latest in various fields of industrial production at this year's Hannover Fair.

During a working dinner scheduled for later today Putin and Merkel will tackle the situation in Syria and the financial problems of Cyprus and the eurozone as a whole, Voice of Russia reported.
