Kuwait emir will attend NAM summit in Tehran

(MNA) – Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the emir of Kuwait, will participate in the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Tehran, Iran’s ambassador to Kuwait says.

“According to an announcement by Kuwaiti officials this country will participate in the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement at the highest level,” Ambassador Rouhollah Qahremani told the Mehr News Agency on Friday.

The NAM summit in Tehran will bring together more than 50 heads of state and government.

The summit will begin on Aug. 26 and will last until Aug. 31.
