‘NAM summit is a great success for Iran’

 (MNA) – Ali Shamkhani, the head of the Strategic Studies Center, says the holding of the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Tehran next week will be a “great success” for Iran.

Ali Shamkhani told the Mehr News Agency that the meeting is a “move against the myriad of plots” being hatched against Iran by Israel and the U.S.

Shamkhani who served as defense minister under President Mohammad Khatami also said the dawning of Islamic Awakening or Arab Spring in the Middle East and North Africa is “innately” against imperialism.
