(FNA)- Arab League Deputy Secretary-General for the Affairs of Palestine and the Occupied Arab Territories Muhammad Sabih condemned Israel's aggressive nature, and warned of the Zionist regime's readiness to make an aggression against its neighbors.

"Israel always prepares itself for aggression and it wants to make aggression against the neighboring states and the entire region," Sabih told FNA on Wednesday.

He underlined the importance of the International Quds Day rallies for the Muslim nations, specially the Palestinians, and said Muslims should not merely rely on the Quds Day to defend the Palestinian people and should think of them every day as Israel continues Judaizing Quds each and every day.

The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan is dubbed as 'the international Qods Day' during which worldwide Muslims stage demonstrations to voice their strong protest and outrage at the occupying regime of Israel.

The International Qods Day was started by the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, as a way of expressing solidarity with the Palestinians and underscoring importance of Qods to Muslims.

The Palestinians see the Holy Quds as the capital of their promised state and oppose any attempt to extend Israel's control over the part of the city that was occupied in the 1967 Six Day War.
