(MNA) – Negotiators from Iran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) started high profile nuclear talks in Baghdad.

The Iranian negotiating team is comprised of Supreme National Security Council Secretary Saeed Jalili, his deputy Ali Baqeri, and Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

The six major powers are represented by deputy or assistant foreign ministers who are led by EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton.

Negotiations started later than the scheduled time as heavy dust storm made it difficult for planes to land at Baghdad airport.
