UNESCO’s new ambassador submits credentials to Salehi
TEHRAN, April 21 (MNA) – The new director of UNESCO office in Tehran, Tarja Virtanen, held a meeting with Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran on Saturday and submitted his credentials to him.
During the meeting, Salehi commented on Iran’s history and culture and emphasized that the country has great potential which should be utilized to increase cooperation with the organization in all spheres.
