TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in a meeting with his Tajik and Afghan counterparts in Dushanbe underscored Tehran's willingness to further develop all-out cooperation with the two countries, specially in implementing infrastructural projects.
Salehi made the remarks in a meeting attended by Afghan and Tajik foreign ministers in Tajikistan's capital Dushanbe late on Monday.

"Iran is ready to execute [agreements on] linking rail routes and roads, transfer of oil, gas and water as well as connection of power grids between the three countries," he said.

The meeting was aimed at finding suitable ways to provide the necessary resources and facilities for the implementation of an agreement signed between Iranian, Afghan and Tajik presidents Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Hamid Karzai and Emomali Rakhmon a day earlier.

On Sunday, Ahmadinejad, Karzai and Rakhmon reached an accord on the establishment of connecting routes and the exchange of oil, gas and water between the three countries during a trilateral summit of the presidents of the three Persian-speaking countries in Dushanbe.

The trio agreed to use the financial assets of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and other funds to implement the agreements as soon as possible.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad also participated in the two-day Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA V) which started in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on Monday.

The RECCA V reviewed the achievements gained at the fourth Afghanistan conference in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2010.
