-Zarif: Iran opposes US presence in Astana
In response to a question about Iran’s position regarding the US’ presence in Astana to resolve the Syrian crisis, Foreign Minister Zarif stressed that there was no invitation and Iran opposes any US presence in this summit.
-Islamic Al-Wafa movement declares armed struggle
In protest to the execution of three Bahraini youth in Bahrain, the Islamic al-Wafa movement declared that, from now on, the people of Bahrain have the right to use arms to defend themselves.
IRAN
-Rouhani: JCPOA lifted nuclear-related sanctions
In his latest press conference, President Rouhani defended the nuclear agreement made between Iran and the P5+1, reiterating that Iran did not negotiate over non-nuclear sanctions.
-Al-Jubair: Relations with Iran need bilateral efforts
In spite of his usual claims against Iran, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia said that there are tensions in relations between the two countries and improvement of these relations needs bilateral efforts.
