Iran’s security chief set to meet Syrian president today

(MNA) – Iranian Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Secretary Saeed Jalili is scheduled to meet Syrian President Beshar al-Assad in Damascus today.
Jalili who is currently in Lebanon will enter Damascus from Beirut.

Jalili held talks with senior Lebanese officials including President Michael Suleiman, Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and Parliament speaker Nabi Berri in Beirut on Monday.
